Elliot L. Chaikof, MD, PhD
Elliot L. Chaikof, MD, PhD, is Chairman of the Roberta and Stephen R. Weiner Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a member of the Wyss Institute of Biologically Inspired Engineering and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. Dr. Chaikof has promoted alliances of clinicians, engineers, chemists, and biologists. He has been active in the development of biologically inspired materials and minimally invasive endovascular therapies for treatment of aortic aneurysms, carotid disease, and peripheral arterial disease.
